Meeting with the Mormon Missionaries?
They may have come knocking on your door; you may have met them on your way to work; a Mormon friend may have sent them to your home. Thousands of people across the world come in contact with Mormon missionaries every day. Are you visiting with them? I promise you that they teach the words of Christ. The links below lead to some resources on this website where you can get more information about the missionary lessons of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Not meeting with the missionaries yet? You can visit Mormon.org and request a visit from the missionaries.
I was a Mormon missionary a few years ago. I lived for two years in North Carolina. It was a wonderful experience! Day in and day out I taught people about Jesus Christ and about the restoration of His gospel through the prophet Joseph Smith. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints sends tens of thousands of young Mormon men and women on missionary service each year. The majority of Mormon missionaries are young men (who are eligible to serve beginning at age 18) and young women (who can begin service at age 19). Young men serve a mission for 2 years, while young men can serve for 18 months. However, an increasingly large number of senior couples and senior singles are embarking on missionary service throughout the world.
After learning from the missionaries, many people feel the desire to join the Mormon church (or The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints). Sadly, this decision is met with hostility at worst, or indifference at best, for many. For those of you I say: Hang in there! Doing the right thing is rarely easy. You’ll hear a lot confusing things from people that don’t like Mormons. You’ll hear a lot of lies, too. Just remember, you can pray to know for yourself that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true church.
